Nice breakdown. I’ve also noticed that blogs are personal and give advise and support. But like yours, I’ve seen many websites with blogs.

Raymund — blogs certainly have taken on a life of their own. It is hard to see the difference as an end user. I think more and more the differences are very prevalent in the back end. With a good designer and advanced plugins you can make a blog look and act like a web site.

That used to be the case where blogs were news sites, but WordPress is just so easy to use, it has crossed over and gained ground on replacing web sites.
