Page Landing, sounds kind of corny huh? Back in the day, like last year, one page sales pitches were known as Landing Pages, Stealth Sites (or Stealth web sites) and now today some people refer to them as Squeeze Pages.

What Are Page Landings (aka Squeeze Pages)?

So, now that you are up to date on the terminology, what is IT?  A Landing Page by any other name is quite simply a one page ad. It shouldn’t be overly long, have a simple message (like what you’re offering), and a sign up box to capture an email address and/or a phone number. IMPORTANT: Landing Pages DO NOT link off to any site or company. They are a one page standalone “site”.

Hello again and welcome to our new updated site.  It’s always been said that web designer sites are behind the times.  We here at CreativeAce are no exception.  Why?  Because we are always working on a client’s site or redesigning one or writing documentation somewhere.

Our last design was built using ColdFusion technology.  It was pretty with a warm tan paper type background (I think we’ll post a history of our site design sometime) and a cool logo with pen and CA colored from Philadelphia Eagle Black to Green.  It really was hard to part with the old site, but I did manage to keep the logo in our new design.

But alas, it was time to take a good look at our site.  And yes, it was time to modernize it.  It’s no longer built in ColdFusion and we have simplified it.
